Montessori classrooms are prepared environments guiding children in mastering concepts at their own pace. The freedom to choose the task to work with is left to the child. With freedom to choose their work, comes the responsibility to complete the entire work cycle from picking the material, working with it to completion to winding up and placing it back in the correct place.
