Our Montessori Environments are adult-independent engagement, this makes sure that the children are meaningfully engaged with the material of their choice and learning becomes an organic process. The progression of learning falls into a natural pace determined solely by the innate curiosity of each child.

Most children start their life at ABODE around 2 years of age in the toddlers environment. Here the prime engagement modalities are - language, movement, and coordination. They spend a year in the nurturing toddler spaces refining their walking, talking, and eating abilities, which are much needed tools to explore the next stages of learning life.

Children move into our highly engaging and stimulating preschool environment around 3 years of age. The key element of their engagement in the Montessori environment is their hands - which are deemed as the instruments of man's intelligence. Every material in the environment speaks to you and engages your senses (sight, sound, smell, touch, taste, etc.).

In our preschool environments the autonomy a child has to choose the material to work with enables a child with a sense of purpose and increases self-worth in them. This intrinsic nature of the classroom is the very reason for the child to be independent and become responsible. They start owning their environments and enjoy the little responsibility that comes with freedom.

Enrich

While the prepared environments are busy engaging the children, our uniquely designed and well-researched programs enrichs the child.

Our highly enriched Multiple Intelligence program (music, dance, kinetics, art, etc.) add adequate meaning to the various faculties of the child's brain.

Book Bag aka Early Readers Program enriches the reading mind with a myriad of words and thoughts while helping to create a lifelong love for reading.

Our widely popular Friday-fun events enriched with the concept of multiple intelligences celebrate the multitude of Indian and International festivals, bringing a sense of culture and celebration of life as an important aspect of living.

Evolve

ABODE ensures that the learning experience for each child is individualized and at their own pace. We have a curriculum tracker for each student rather than having a lesson plan for the entire class. Our follow-the-child philosophy entails meeting each student where they are cognitively rather than expecting them to reach a level across the board of all students.

The students evolve upon their social, and emotional skills during their time here at preschool. As the name suggests, our goal at ABODE is to create a nurturing atmosphere for children to be free of their fears and have the freedom to err, freedom to think and freedom to evolve to their highest potential.
