Curriculum Overview

“Curiosity is the foundation or the presence of the school”

At ABODE School, we provide a diverse and enriching curriculum tailored to support our students at every stage of their educational journey. Our curriculum is crafted to foster intellectual growth, ignite creativity, and cultivate a profound understanding of the world.

We offer a variety of opportunities and platforms through ABODE initiatives and enrichment programs, enabling students to discover their unique strengths and cultivate leadership skills. These experiences are designed to empower students, helping them grow into confident, capable and empathetic leaders both in and out of the classroom.

Our Educational Approach

We offer a Montessori philosophy for our preschool, providing a nurturing environment that fosters early childhood development through hands-on, self-directed learning.

For Grades 1 to 7, we implement an integrated curriculum that combines the strengths of both the Cambridge and CBSE systems, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.

In Grade 8, students have the flexibility to choose between the Cambridge and CBSE curriculum, with our school providing comprehensive support for both pathways to cater to individual learning preferences and academic goals.

The Cambridge curriculum offers a global perspective on education, focusing on critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and the application of knowledge. Known for its rigorous academic standards, the Cambridge program encourages students to explore subjects in depth and develop independent research skills. It is designed to be flexible, catering to the individual needs and strengths of students, and provides them with qualifications recognized by universities worldwide. The curriculum not only prepares students for academic success but also equips them with the skills needed to thrive in a globalized world.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum is grounded in a well-structured, comprehensive educational framework. It is designed to provide a robust academic foundation with a strong emphasis on science, mathematics, and social studies, complemented by a balanced focus on language and arts. CBSE promotes analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and prepares students for national and international competitive exams.

Montessori is an educational approach that focuses on the unique needs and development of each individual child. Developed by Dr. Maria Montessori in the early 20th century, this method is rooted in the belief that children learn best when they are allowed to explore their interests and follow their natural curiosity.

“The child is both a hope and a promise for mankind.” quote by Maria Montessori

The Montessori method highlights the absorbent mind in young children, who effortlessly absorb information from their surroundings. This innate ability is enhanced during sensitive periods, when children are especially receptive to learning specific skills. These critical phases enhance their learning experiences and growth.
